Dane
Dane, a true local, was raised in the heart of our coastal community. With a lifetime spent embracing the waves and safeguarding beachgoers as a former lifeguard, his bond with the ocean runs deep. From his earliest days, Dane harbored a dream of owning a business on the water—a dream now realized. His aspiration? To impart his profound affection for the Central Coast to every guest who crosses his path, ensuring they leave with cherished memories of this breathtaking locale.
Lexy
In 2014, Lexy made the life-changing move from Visalia, CA, to the charming coastal town of Morro Bay. But her love story didn't end there—she also found love with a local captain named Dane. Their connection blossomed over shared adventures on the ocean, leading to a heartfelt proposal from Dane in 2019. Now, as a happily married couple, Lexy and Dane are thrilled to combine their passion for the sea and each other by running this business as a family. With their little one by their side, they invite visitors to experience the beauty and warmth of Morro Bay firsthand.
Beau
Beau grew up on the ocean his entire life. Moved to Morro Bay in 2012 has since been surfing, sailing, and rebuilding his 49 foot sailboat to eventually set sail anywhere south, with his lovely Fiancé and two children.
Marcelo
Marcello, a local to our beloved town, who has deep roots in Morro Bay. Joining our team in 2022, Marcello brings his innate connection to the ocean and the community to every aspect of his work. While diligently pursuing his 100-ton Masters Captain's license, he's also diving into the world of pipe welding, aiming to expand his skill set and expertise. Marcello's dedication and passion for both the sea and craftsmanship shine through in everything he does, making him an invaluable member of our team.
Grant
Meet Grant, a proud local who honed his skills at Cal Poly before returning to his roots in our vibrant coastal community. With his radiant wife by his side, they recently returned from a season of cruising the seas of Mexico on their sailboat, adding to their adventurous spirit. Now, as they eagerly anticipate the arrival of their first child, Grant is embarking on his latest adventure—fulfilling his dream of becoming a captain. With determination and a heart full of excitement, he's set his sights on mastering the seas while embracing the profound responsibilities of fatherhood.
Bruce
Bruce was raised in Morro Bay and brings decades of on-the-water experience to the team. As a teenager, he built his own sailboat — complete with a window in the hull to watch fish below — and went on to spend over 20 years sailing throughout California, Mexico, and Hawaii.
A former Harbor Master in Olympia, Washington, Bruce has a deep knowledge of boating, wildlife, and the local waters. He’s passionate about providing a safe, smooth, and memorable experience for every guest who steps onboard.
Kevin
Kevin recently joined the Lost Isle Adventures team. A dedicated surfer, Kevin spends his mornings riding the waves and soaking in the beauty of the central coast. After serving his country in the Army, Kevin relocated to the central coast six years ago, following his time stationed in Hawaii. His love for the water and the marine environment makes him a perfect fit for Lost Isle Adventures.
Kai
Originally from South Lake Tahoe, Kai brings a lifelong love of the outdoors to the Lost Isle Adventures crew. After spending several years living in Hawai‘i, his passion for the ocean and marine life truly took hold. Now based in Morro Bay, Kai is working toward earning his 100-Ton Master Captain’s License, while contributing his energy and enthusiasm as a deckhand on our tours.
Hunter
Hunter is a Morro Bay local and usually the first face you’ll see at check-in. A former CIF Champion with Morro Bay High and track athlete at Cuesta College, he brings great energy and top-notch customer service to the team.
Friendly, easygoing, and always ready to help, Hunter makes sure your experience starts off right. If you’ve got questions about local sports or need a fantasy pick, he’s your guy.
